Easter 2011

We had a wonderful Easter weekend. My inlaws came in town for a visit, which of course meant that the boys were spoiled to pieces for 3 days (:  It was great!  Plus my great grandmother was in town for the weekend, and we always love being able to visit with her.

On Friday evening we attended our Good Friday service at Madison Heights.  On Saturday we went over to my parents house to enjoy the spring weather and dye Easter eggs.  On Sunday, we went to our Easter service, followed by lunch at my parents with our entire family (where the boys took nice LONG naps!), then came home to have a quiet evening with the inlaws before they had to leave town the next morning.

Of course, I took lots of pictures over the weekend…. and here are my favorites.

Mom bought a wagon for the grandkids. It was a hit!

We put the boys in the baby pool. Noah loved it and swam like a fish. Barrett had just woken up from a nap and wasn't quite ready to be put in a pool.
Jane Bradley helped entertain the boys in the pool.
Noah really enjoyed the pool.

After being convinced for 3 years that there are no fish in my parents lake, he caught one! Then it came off the hook before I got a picture.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Easter weekend and celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and Savior!  And even though this next Sunday isn’t technically Easter, we’ll head back to church and celebrate it again!
